[Case Study of Acoustic and Visual Production for Exhibition Space] Miraikan – The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation

The exhibition “Undiscovered Universe” offers a hands-on experience of how researchers are attempting to decipher the cosmos using massive observational and experimental equipment.

Visitors can immerse themselves in four different areas of space research: neutrino observation, gravitational wave detection, astronomical observation using light across invisible wavelengths, and particle accelerator experiments.

Immersive’s Furudate contributed to the powerful acoustic and visual production that supports this immersive experience.

Our product, the "Immersive Engine," which creates immersive spaces through the use of multiple projectors, was also centered around the theme of immersion. We are applying the insights gained from this project to further enhance the Immersive Engine and will continue to pursue deeper immersive experiences in the future.
