Quantum dots are extremely small semiconductor particles that retain and emit light.
By applying paint using this property to wall surfaces, we achieve high-contrast projector projections comparable to LED and LCD screens.
In the conventional method of projecting onto white walls, it was difficult to express the depth of shadows, limiting the reproduction of contrast. Quantum dots (Quantum Dot) retain light and match wavelengths to emit light strongly, and by adjusting the size of the quantum dots to change the frequency of wavelengths, it becomes possible to emit even more vivid colors. Utilizing this property, the wall surface can maintain the expression of highlights even if it is black or gray, achieving high-contrast projections that express shadows while keeping highlights. This adds depth to the visuals, enhancing the immersive experience of the Immersive Engine.
Cole Franklin, a global contributor to enhancing the display performance of smartphones and PC devices using Quantum Dot technology, is jointly developing and selling the “Immersive Magic Wall,” which applies this technology to wall paint for projector projections.

Immersive Magic Wall is an option available when introducing the Immersive Engine. When adopting the Immersive Magic Wall, the wall surface will be black to gray instead of the usual white. We will propose the optimal tone according to the brightness (lumens) varying with the distance between the projector and the wall surface.
Projectors are a suitable solution compared to LEDs in terms of initial cost, operational cost, and environmental consideration. Immersive Magic Wall can be proposed as an alternative system to LED displays.
The Immersive Engine creates an immersive space without goggles by projecting content onto walls laid out in various shapes using a projector. This next-generation presentation and meeting system eliminates the travel expenses and time previously required for business trips. It is a solution that can be utilized in various scenes such as warehouse and factory inspections, internal training, store audits, venue previews, and tourism.
