KAJIMA CORPORATION

A Next-Generation Human Resource Development Platform Realized with Japan’s Leading Construction Professionals

The hands-on training facility "Kajima Technical Center" (Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama), operated by KAJIMA CORPORATION, was established with the goal of improving the quality control capabilities of young and mid-career employees within the KAJIMA Group.

We are pleased to announce the installation of the Immersive Engine and Immersive Magic Wall (Domestic Certified Version) in the facility's "KZ Gallery," a space utilized for employee training, recruitment activities, and external events.

■ The Challenges Before Implementation
When conveying the company's proud history of large-scale construction achievements during presentations for recruitment and training, traditional single-screen setups had reached their limits.

The starting point for introducing this advanced three-sided immersive system was the desire to go beyond mere "information transmission" and elevate it to a "shared experience" deeply engraved in the memories of young talent.

An Immersive Presentation Environment That Fosters Professional Awareness

■ Results of the Implementation
By installing the Immersive Engine and Immersive Magic Wall (Domestic Certified Version) onto a massive three-sided wall—3 meters high, 12 meters wide in the front, and 4 meters wide on both the left and right—a breathtaking immersive presentation space was born to support the educational and recruitment environment for young talent with limited on-site experience.

・An Immersive Experience That Cultivates Professional Pride
The Immersive Engine, which provides integrated control over the entire space, and the Immersive Magic Wall, which enables high-contrast visual depiction, instantly draw participants into the world within the video. Experiencing the company's history and achievement videos on an overwhelming scale surpasses verbal explanations, serving as a powerful catalyst for cultivating a sense of ownership and professional pride among young talent.

・Revitalizing Communication Through Shared Experiences
The visual control of the Immersive Engine enables the simultaneous display of multiple screens. It allows for the simultaneous connection of up to five PCs, displaying each screen on the walls to conduct group work. Seamlessly combining immersive experiences with group work revitalizes communication and fosters a sense of unity as a team.

■ Client Voice
"We hold high expectations for the 'sharpness of response' from students and young employees achieved through sharing this immersive experience. Moving forward, we aim to project content such as virtual on-site experiences utilizing 3D CG and 360-degree camera footage, striving to utilize this immersive space in an even more highly advanced manner."

Mr. Daisuke Horiuchi / Managing Executive Officer, Deputy General Manager of the Building Construction Management Division, and General Manager of the Building Construction Planning Department

Additionally, the intuitive operability of the Immersive Engine has received high praise. Utilizing preset functions on a single handheld tablet enables one-touch control of the entire space. This realized an environment where daily operations are possible without any specialized knowledge.

Future Outlook

This case study proves that immersive spaces can function as next-generation professional human resource development platforms.

As construction sites become more complex and work styles diversify, the nature of "passing down skills" is also changing, making the utilization of technology increasingly indispensable.

Immersive, Inc. will continue to tackle the further potential of human resource development leveraging immersive experiences.

Creating an Immersive Meeting Space: Translating the Memories of the Disaster into a “Lived Experience”

"Fukushima Koriyama LL Town," planned and developed by Fukuda and Partners Co., Ltd., is a multi-building logistics hub that possesses dual functions: a "logistics base" during normal times and a "disaster prevention base" during emergencies. The development of this facility was driven by the company's own experience in the recovery efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake, where they acutely realized that "delivering goods is protecting lives." To prevent the memories of the disaster from fading and to pass them on to the next generation as a practical, actionable solution, they have installed the "Immersive Engine" and "Immersive Magic Wall" in a large conference room within one of the buildings. Achieving Stunning Visual Fidelity with High-Brightness Projectors × Magic Wall

arkbell, inc. (Headquarters: Ota-ku, Tokyo) is an "audio, visual, and lighting solutions company" that has produced numerous events and spatial experiences. To allow clients to truly "experience" the value of projection mapping, the company opened a test lab within their own studio. To maximize the sense of immersion in that space, they introduced "Immersive Magic Wall," our specialized projector paint that enables high-contrast visual expression. ■ Pre-Installation Challenges When launching the test lab, the company faced the issue of image washout caused by conventional "white walls." Even with the introduction of the latest high-brightness projectors, white walls cause diffuse light reflection, resulting in the loss of contrast—the lifeblood of visual content. They realized the need to look beyond equipment specifications and change the "wall (environment)" acting as the canvas. While carefully evaluating various paints capable of preventing this washout, including competitors' products, they visited the Immersive showroom in Ebisu. The stunning "depth of color" they witnessed left a profound impact and became the deciding factor for the installation.

Discovering New Possibilities in Communication Spaces with the Projector Professionals

Epson Sales Japan Corporation handles the domestic marketing and sales for the Seiko Epson Group, offering solution proposals through office automation equipment. In January 2026, they opened "Epson XaILab," a corporate solution center located in the Shinjuku Miraina Tower. "XaILab" functions as a co-creation lab that fuses Experience and Innovation. To realize the evolution from a traditional product showcase showroom to a solution center that works closely with customers to solve their challenges, Immersive was selected as a partner. We handled the implementation of the "Immersive Engine" in two locations within the facility, as well as the production of "original CG content" for the 360° immersive space. For this article, we spoke with Mr. Kozawa and Mr. Matsuyama from the Marketing Communications Department at Epson Sales Japan Corporation, who drove this project forward. We asked them about the "update of communication spaces" brought about by combining projectors with the Immersive Engine. End Client: Epson Sales Japan Corporation Partner: ITOKI CORPORATION

The Suntory Minami Alps Hakushu Water Plant (Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture) is the production hub for "Suntory Tennensui" natural water, nestled in abundant nature. This popular facility allows visitors of all ages to observe the actual production lines up close. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the facility underwent a major renewal of its tour, now titled "Dive into the World of Natural Water! Suntory Tennensui (Minami Alps) Story Tour." To provide an "overwhelming sense of immersion" for experiencing the story behind the production of "Suntory Tennensui," the Immersive Magic Wall was selected as the core solution.
