【Immersive Magic Wall Installation】”Shosoin: THE SHOW” Osaka Exhibition (Large-Scale Exhibition)

The Shosoin treasures will be displayed more beautifully and brilliantly on a massive screen measuring approximately 20 meters wide and 4 meters high.

The Osaka exhibition of "Shosoin: THE SHOW – Feel the Miracle Here and Now," which opened on June 14, 2025 (organized by the "Shosoin: THE SHOW" Executive Committee and others, supervised by the Shosoin Office of the Imperial Household Agency), has introduced the Immersive Magic Wall to its exhibition space. This innovative technology is used to dynamically and vividly convey the original beauty of the historical treasures through projection.

EPSON's 8,500lm model projectors are employed for this exhibition. The Immersive Magic Wall, with its exceptional contrast reproduction and color performance, serves as the projection surface, dramatically enhancing the quality and impact of the exhibition’s visual presentation across its wide and delicate displays.

From "Viewing" to "Feeling" — A New Frontier in Spatial Presentation

At "Shosoin: THE SHOW," leading companies such as Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation, The Yomiuri Shimbun, TOPPAN, Kadokawa Media House, and Epson Sales Japan have come together to deliver an exceptionally high-standard exhibition experience.

Within this collaboration, Immersive took charge of the spatial presentation through large-screen projector visuals. By expressing the brilliance and textures of the treasures in intricate detail, they created an exhibition space where visitors do not simply "view" but can truly "feel" the world of the Shosoin treasures.

Feedback from partners has included comments such as:
"The depth of the visuals is on another level."
"The blacks sink deeply, making the gold truly stand out."
"It's overwhelmingly easy to view."

Immersive Magic Wall is attracting attention across a wide range of industries — from art museums and history museums to corporate showrooms, conference rooms, and entertainment spaces.

"Shosoin: THE SHOW – Feel the Miracle, Here and Now –"

"Shosoin: THE SHOW" is packed with features that appeal to all the senses — sight, hearing, and even smell — offering visitors a new way to rediscover the treasures of the Shosoin and their rich history.

Immersive Real Estate Presentations with High-Precision Reproduction / Brillia Gallery Shinjuku – Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd.

    ■ Client Introduction Brillia Gallery Shinjuku, operated by Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Katsuhito Ozawa), serves as a centralized sales hub for the Brillia series of newly built condominiums. It offers a new way to choose a home, including a VR showroom where visitors can experience condominium interiors at near life-size scale, as if they were actually inside the space. End Client: Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. Partner: e-State Online Co., Ltd. ■ Challenges Before Implementation The VR showroom previously used a roughly 200-inch projector display to showcase interior walkthrough videos, allowing visitors to experience room layouts. However, projection on plain white walls provided low color and texture fidelity, requiring detailed confirmations to be done separately on PC screens. This created inefficiencies in the sales and presentation process.
